What is your teaching philosophy?

"I teach mindfulness and social-emotional learning as well as goal setting and task initiation."

Can you tell us about a memorable student?

"My first semester as a college composition instructor back in 2007, I asked the class "if you could meet any one person and ask them one question who would it be?" and he said "Taylor Swift" and I said "who?"

What is your favorite part of being a teacher?

"Impacting student lives."

What is the biggest challenge you face as a teacher?

"Not having windows in my classroom."
